Well, I just bought the Montblanc Body deodorant stick. I have used better deodorants than that. About knifes, my favorite is the Aitor Jungle King 1, for my daily use, it is the best knife I had ever use and it is about 20 years old and still kicking..

Deodorant stick !! OMG ! Although I must admit MB talc does smell better than most and their toothpicks reach the cavities others can only dream about.

I knew about aftershave (and educated guess would suggest purfume) but I would never have expected more basic toilettries.

I'll be honest, I've become a Mont Blanc fanboy. However, I firmly believe that in my case, it's for the right reasons. Their brand recognition is so good that they essentially have two separate markets. What I mean is that, there is a demand for their products from both collectors and non-collectors.

I buy almost every single one of my Mont Blanc items from the "non-collector" market. Generally, these people received them as a gift, found them at an estate sale, or bought them many years ago and didn't realize how much they've appreciated in price. When I sell, I sell to the "collector" market. This market generally is willing to pay a much higher price. One could argue against my methods, but in my opinion, my knowledge and time has value. I should note that I'm a stock broker so that obviously formed my thought process.

Some of the Mont Blanc things I own/have owned:

-Close to 50 Mont Blanc Pens

-4 Mont Blanc watches

-Mont Blanc Money Clip

-Mont Blanc Cufflinks

In 99% of cases, I've made money off every single MB item. It allows me to enjoy my collection without paying a high "depreciation" cost.

Dunhill might be best known for their pipes and tobacco.

I use a Montblanc fountain pen and ballpoint every day. They have the best form and function. Deoderant stick? The luxury goods companies do seem to probe new markets. You never know when they might come up with a superior product. It could change their whole focus.

Like their awesome toothpick? I have not had a cavity in years since using them. But they do taste of resin....

Well, Please forgive my cellphone picture.

This item came in one set with Deodorant Stick, After Shave and Cologne, I bought this set just for curiosity, the first thing I said when I saw it : " Come on !!!! Montblanc it is a pen manufacturer !!! Montblanc sells Pens and writing instruments, they are not parfum makers !! and I came out from the department store with my Montblanc Fragance set. And there are another 4 deodorant sticks with diferent fragance, just in case someone wants to begin another MB collection.

Warm Regards.
