to quote George Takei,

Sometimes the cat needs a new cat toy. And sometimes I need a new pen.

After the Green o' Green the Red o' Red?

Not bad. Not bad at all.

Quite a price increase from the 600 GO'G. Glad I got mine when I did.

The M320 ruby coloured pen is an absolutely scrumptious pen, so this would be a very interesting M600 line pen. The price point is somewhat on the high side, however.

I wonder how this would look side-by-side with a Pelikan M620 Madrid pen ? :hmm1:

notwithstanding the size of the pen, the colour is too femine :hmm1:

Just 3 months I was telling myself, thank god the m320 ruby red only comes in that small size. If it were an m600 or 800, I would have to buy it phew... Now...

Damn it.

Why can't it be in the 400 size? The 600 is just too big for me, but oh, I LOVE the color.

ETA: Just changed my mind. I haven't ever actually held a 600. Just MAYBE I could handle it. Wish I could handle the price.

Hi

Gorgeous colour, but the price is too high for me to even consider nowadays.

Hmm, I missed the price. What was it? Can't seem to find it now...

I am hoping that the US 'street price' will be around $400 or so. I will probably buy it as I am a sucker for both red pens and Pelikan M600 sized special editions.

Hmm, 400 seems high. Even green o green is like 380 or so. Guess I'm quibbling over 20 bucks. So confused with their price increases...

Why won't these Pelikan people leave me alone? I just bought a 605 in Blue. Now THIS!! Okay, let's just try to forget...forget...forget. :yikes:

This would be so perfect poking out of my stocking Christmas Day. Please, Santa? Red is your color.

I can't stop buying pens and it scares me.

I emailed my normal US retailers of new Pelikans yesterday.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
