Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

So, this means that samples 1-100 are up and posted.

Some of the other samples are already up, but look to see more this coming weekend.

Be sure to add comments!!

Sorry colerehogan that all your samples were on the same board. embarrassed_smile.gif

That's a bummer. I was looking forward to seeing how my page with the black inks did. :(

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the pages.

They just may not have gotten as much sun as the others. Overall, the black inks held up really well. Purples, not so much.

Anyone wanting to download the entire website with pictures as currently available as one single zip file

send a pm to any one of the following for the URL and password

me, geoduc, lagnut or lapis

I'm trying to upload at least two images each day until they are all done.

The best reason to download the entire website is that you can get all the large images without waiting for the individual loading time. Hooray.

That's pretty amazing - everything! So Noodler's Coral Sea Blue is the winner? Is it available in the US?

I don't know if we can just declare "A" winner - at least not yet. Not everything is uploaded yet.

Coral Sea held up amazingly and I want to get more and be mean to it.

rolleyes.gif

If we had to name "winners", I think we have to match is by color. Overall, black ink just survives better than most colors.

If you had one single ink that withstands everything I've thrown at it - then it would be KTC.

If you were thinking Orange inks - let me say that almost all oranges / pinks and vibrant purples were goners.

BUT check out this one from colrehogan ---- keep in mind that this paper may have gotten less sunlight than my other boards, but it definitely received water damage during the experiment. Shockingly to me MB Ink of Joy is still standing. Akkerman Orange (my favorite) didn't last more than a week in the sun. On this sample (#120) check out how Diamine Pumpkin fades to yellow, but Ink of Joy (and for that matter Ink of Love) are still vibrant and beautiful.

Wow, Ink of Joy is an unexpected surprise! It looks like all my bright Iroshizukus will fade in the Phoenix sun :crybaby:

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
