That's an impressive selection of materials in the first photo! The scrimshaw work is really nice, but alas I will probably never be able to afford those pens (or perhaps it would be more accurate to say: I doubt I will ever be willing to pay their price).

As Promised. Here are the pictures of the Visconti Day!

Are those new impressionist models? They overall colours are similar to the Sunflowers and Room in Arles; however, the patterns look to be far more complex and more appealing to me (raising them to the same level as the Starry Night).

Exactly. Those are never sent out in the field for sure. More complex colors with Pd nibs would certainly be a major draw here.

I'm disappointed that the high end pens now seem to be priced away from users. I own and use some pretty expensive pens, but when the price starts to equal a mid range car, I drop out of buying. For the price of a "show piece" I can have a bespoke silver overlay pen.

Enough scrimshaw already, OK?

I'd be happy to see the Divina Maxis show up in some colors like the purple and ruby selected for the Queen's Jubilee. Or even some of those complex colors from the pictures. Silver and color. Yum!

Many thanks for this thread and for the Visconti Day pictures. Don't have any Ripples ... just ten Van Gogh Maxis, a Pericles, and two Opera Master Demos. Of the dozen or more pens in rotation one any given day there will always be both OMDs and four or more VGs. Love 'em!

There are numerous out of production Viscontis on my wishlist, but their current range doesn't really do much for me.

It doesn't bother me that Visconti make high end collector LE's exist, they're too expensive for my taste, but if there's a market for them I have no objection to Visconti or anyone else cashing in on it. At this point my reaction to the Rembrandts, Michaelangelos and Van Goghs is: meh, I already have plenty of pens which are nicer or more interesting. And at the moment Visconti don't have much to offer in between these, just the black Divina and the Homo Sapiens. These are nice enough, but neither really appeal to me.

The maxi sized Divina in some of those interesting and complex materials would be great. I'd also like to see an Opera Master in those materials. A double resevoir power filler would be ideal, a real (i.e. not embedded converter) piston filler would be OK, even a cartridge converter would be fine, just please get rid of the push pull touchdown filler. I realize these wouldn't be particularly interesting or innovative pens, but the designs are Visconti icons and they would nicely fill a gaping hole in the Visconti product line.

Of course, Visconti may already have something secret in the works to fill this void.
