I personally LOVE Saffron. Another ink on the same line that I love.. DeAtramentis Mahatma Gandhi (not MontBlanc)

The photo links are all still broken. I hope they aren't permanently damaged or lost.....

This is the peril of using outside image servers like photobucket or imageshack for uploading pictures to FPN. Better to use the "upload" tab which, although not intuitive, works very well.

The links to the image shown in posts #81 and #82 up on top of this FPN page still work as they are easy to see, (at least for me) and they were made using photobucket.

You are absolutely right and I apologize for making such a broad and sweeping statement. I should have qualified my objections to situations where the poster closes his image hosting account, reorganizes his file structure or the image hosting server goes through some internal changes or closes. In those cases the hyperlinks are broken and the images disappear from the posts. This happens with alarming regularity and, for that reason, many threads on FPN have lost their usefulness.

If, however, the poster uses the FPN "upload" tab, the image is hosted on the FPN servers and it is unlikely that the hyperlinks will break. Naturally, should FPN ever close the images will be lost forever. Then again this controversy will become moot... ;)

Photobucket links can stop working temporarily if owner's account exceeds bandwidth allowance for that period; it resets afterwards.

If you're an active PB user it's wise to establish a new account every year or so even before your a/c runs out of storage space allowance.

The bandwidth allowance is per a/c and is total of all accesses to your photos. When your photo is online, quoted and requoted manyfold... it all adds up very quickly.

Carlos, no problem! I've been told that the FPN "Upload" tab function is good to use. But I've always just used the "Image" icon in this Reply window and that has always worked with PB. PB itself is a bit dreary (w/ or w/o ads) but it has as yet over the years (at least for me) always functioned okay.

Hi- sorry to resurrect this thread but I wondered if anyone can tell me what is an equivalent ink ti montblanc ink of joy? I absolutely LOVE this ink and can't find anything near it in this cheerful orange....iroshizuku yu-yake and fuyu gaki are too red as is diamine pumpkin. Any ideas anyone?

Have a look at Kaweco Sunrise Orange. You could try a pack pf cartridges or maybe find a sample before committing to a bottle.

I like that UNICEF Blue. Very upbeat blue colour, nicely displayed in the photos (and, very rightly, guarded by a crocodile)! :D Thank you for posting!

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
