Title says it all. My beloved 146 has a stiff piston, i've managed to fill it but it's a "sketchy" experience each time  . I'm not anticipating it, but if d-day comes i want to be prepared.

Also, does anyone have experience concering websters-pen-shop repair service?

Thanks :)

I have no experience concerning Websters pen shop repair service but if one of my 146 pens (or any of my Montblancs) needed a service then I would send it to Montblanc Head Office in Richmond. I believe that they charge a flat fee of £60 that includes replacing whatever parts need replacing (excluding nib and clip). You can find the address on the Montblanc UK web-site. If you have no luck please PM me and I will give you the details.

I brought a 146 from ebay that had a broken piston filler and chiped nib feeder. sent it to montblanc and they charged £60 to repair it. The pen came back looking brand new :) Great service
