Chelpark pens (made in India)

While working in Delhi I’ve taken up the hobby of hunting for Chelparks, Camlins and other Indian-made fountains. I will be coming back to the US on April 5th and will bring you back some hard to get pens to be mailed out when I land on the 6th or 7th. Below is what I have found so far. All of these are fine tipped nibs.

Chelpark Moti: $15 plus $2 shipping to the lower 48

This is the sharpest of the selections I have found so far in my opinion. It is piston filled.

I currently have green, teal, maroon, and blue.

Chelpark Maverick: $10 plus $2 shipping to the lower 48

This is the pen that Noodler’s sells as their piston filler. Check it out at this review:

https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php?/topic/189154-noodlers-piston-fillers-secret-identity/page__p__1910334__fromsearch__1#entry1910334

I currently have teal, maroon, red, and black.

Chelpark Antic: $15 plus $2 shipping to the lower 48

A pretty darn attractive eye dropper

I currently have green, blue, maroon, and teal.

Chelpark Top Gun: $8 plus $2 shipping to the lower 48

A basic eye dropper.

I currently have teal, blue, red, maroon, and black.

Or I will sell you all four for a flat rate of $40 with free shipping.

If you would like to have the box included I will bring it home for an extra $10. Keep in mind that I only have one box for each type of pen at the moment.

Feel free to contact me by e-mail at indiakevin @gmail.com or by PM. Payment should be made by paypal to the same e-mail. (Remember that the pens won’t ship till approximately April 6th.)

Also, I have some Camlin Trinitys on hand. Fine nibbed, converter filled. I’ll probably list them later but feel free to ask if you are interested. $15 plus $2 shipping.

And, I have had several folks ask me about Chelpark and Camlin ink. I am considering trying to pack a few bottles since there seems to be so much interest. So, let me know if you would like some.

The Moti is very comfortable and a nice writer!

I'm going pen hunting right now, but will probably PM shortly for a foursome. You're killin' me! :)

During my scavenger hunting today I found another black Moti. So you can add that to the colors available. Also, I finally found the Camlin SD, which I just listed.

The last true blue Moti is now on hold. So that color is no longer available. But, the teal is really more of a turquois... I would definitely say it leans towards blue.

I think I might like the maroon moti if its still available.

The pen is mightier than the sword unless someone stabs you with the sword.

It sure is. Just let me know.

I'm curious about the Top Gun. Is that some sort of breather tube or a shaft or something that I can see in the window? Or is it just a reflection?

It is just a reflection. The Top Gun is a normal eye-dropper... no tube inside. I can see what you mean from the picture though.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
