Belting Leather Briefcase By Joseph Daniel

Price reduced to $175 an absolutely terrific 100% leather briefcase. They really don't come like this anymore. Circa 1978 100% belting leather with heavy stitching briefcase handmade made in the USA by Joseph Daniel. Used, but in excellent condition. I did not do any clean-up or conditioning before I took the pics. It measures 16.375" w by 11.125" h by 5.5" d. I know my pics aren't great, but I did try to show you all sides. It's a zippered double gusseted top opening with full size open pockets on both sides. In addition to the two full size interior compartments, there is also a smaller zippered pocket compartment inside with pen/pencil slots and business card slot. There are double leather reinforced padded handles that are very comfortable, and the naturally aged patina is magnificent. I'm the one and only owner so it's been babied over the years.

If you could even find one of these as NOS it would be priced well into the threes and and easily approaching four hundred USD.

Given my pics do no justice to this briefcase, I thought I would say a bit more. The all natural-colored belting leather has aged very nicely. Other than the natural aging, it looks like I bought it last week. It's handmade made with only three materials: genuine full grain belting leather, brass, and stout industrial grade cord. This is a classic piece of high quality made in the US artisanal craftsmanship that is heirloom quality.
