Gel Refil For Fisher Space Pen

wondering if there's anything that will fit a fisher space pen besides the fisher b/p refills. i like the pen (my dad gifted it to me for xmas) but i'd rather have a gel fill so i don't have to bare down to write with it. it's so skinny that baring down really wears on my fingers. it's been so long since i've used a b/p that i forgot how awful they generally are. makes me really appreciate my 149.

Not that I'm aware of. There's an adapter I've seen for people who want to use Space Pen refills in Parker-style pens (may the Flying Spaghetti Monster have mercy on their souls), but nothing the other way around.

i, for one, love the fisher medium refills and use the aforementioned convertor for my cross and parker pens (ah, yes, flying spaghetti monster...that's why miss Gould, the last individual w/ a head on his shoulders and didn't play games, oh well).

i'm not a fan of the roller ball refills :(

which pen is it? if only they made mp / bp sets :(

Give the Bold point refill a try. It is more "juicy" then the Medium.

I beleave that only a Fisher will fit a Fisher.

But get out your Xacto knife and try cutting the plastic end off of a Parker-style gel refill.

Good Luck!

Depending on the Fisher model,a variety of hacks are possible with Pilot Easy Touch as well as Uni Jetstream (the stick model works best for the "bullet" pen), and probably others as well.

No, it will not function on a shuttle mission, nor write underwater or inverted for that matter. It will, however, deliver a darker, much smoother line. Be prepared to trim several refills to get the best fit.

Look at 'C' in the chart. If that plastic adapter is removable it should fit the space pen and be gel. http://www.sensaonline.com/page/refills.htm

For a larger space pen look at the Zero Gravity. http://www.spacepen.com/zerogravitypen.aspx

These should work too, just take off that cap. On the sensa site it does look like that cap is removable. The cap just fits into like the Parker click system thing. For a Space pen bullet it's not needed. I know for a space pen to fit a parker they send you a refill with an adapter for the parker pens.

They have blue and black. I have a Sensa Gel pen refill that would work, but it's out of ink, so no good to you.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
