Hahahah! You are funny!

Why would you drink it?!

I definitely didn't do it on purpose, and I didn't drink it. My pen was having some trouble starting up, and without thinking I touched the nib to my tongue to try and get it going again. Needless to say, I quickly ran to the sink to rinse out my mouth.

I did it once. Never again. If ever I need to start the pen by licking, I lick my finger instead and use it on the nib.

Now I have both my indexes and thumbs black - it looks as if I tried to strangle a statue and my fingers got bruised :D

Currently it's Pilot Iroshizuku Ku-Jaku, because I filled a CON-50 for my Vanishing Point and likely overfilled it. Ink everywhere on my hands and came out of the seam between the body and the clip housing.

But, tell me why most of you clean those couloured fingers ??????? Keeping it blue, brown, black or any other is something that helps other fountain pens lovers to know that you're victim of the same addiction .....

Seeing a client having two beautiful greenish fingers, I asked him " fountain pen user ?" The answer being " you too?" ... And we began a discussion ending in the pub next door ..... KEEP YOUR FINGERS COLOURED !!!!! ;-@

Woot! I just filled a pen with Noodler's Purple Heart without getting any ink on my fingers! :)

I don't purposely scrub my hands if I get ink on them. I'll give them a rinse, to keep ink from getting on anything else, but I've never been bothered by wearing the stains until they come out on their own. <3 It makes me happy to see my fingers colored, knowing that they become that way as a result of my writing or artwork.

MB Einstein Grey

Filled my temperamental Visconti Wall Street. It has proceeded to hemorrhage ink, and somehow had a new issue the day when it returned back from Visconti fixing the old issue. Thing has become a bad penny in my collection. Pretty down about the whole thing. Had to bust out a favorite from my collection to perk up my spirits.

A smudge of Denim on my left thumb from last night, pretty well worn off now.

Kind of fleshy, freckles here and there, nail at the end.

No filling today and the pen I'm using (see my Flea Market Find question) apparently doesn't leak! Yay!

So, what's your point?

(Mine is a flexible F.)

Iroshizuku Kon-peki is currently gracing the index and middle fingers of both hands, and a mystery teal from an old franken pen project has nicely decorated my left pinkie nail.

Just received three bottles of NOS Skrip Peacock Blue by Sheaffer. Taking a trip down memory lane.....

Gotta love those inkwells in the bottle.

This evening, a mix of Waterman's Florida Blue and Noodler's Liberty's Elysium. My tee shirt has a few spots of Noodler's Bad Belted Kingfisher. I also discovered that International Short cartridges hold exactly 1 ml.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
