What Waterman pens do you own?

I have just two Waterman fountain pens but I love them both for the smoothness with which they write:

A sterling silver L'Etalon with fine nib which I fill with Diamine Amaranth and a Laureat with a medium nib thatbis filled with Diamine Umber and, to be honest, probably writes 'better' than any pen I own.

Currently I have an embarrassingly large number of 52s, all BCHR, a late black celluloid 52, a grey with red veins thorobred with military clip, two w2s, a w5, a 12 and a mint BCHR 42. I'd like to find a reasonably priced rose ripple, but that's probably an oxymoron.

I own:

- hemisphere stainless steel, m-nib

- lady agatha blue brown wavy lines, m-nib

- carene brown / amber laquer, f-nib

all nice pens. Only the Carene is in rotation right now. The hemisphere has a little vacation. The Lady is on my desk, but only occasionally used.

The first generation Expert is a bottler of a pen. I have a colleague who can afford any fountain pen around and uses his first generation Expert exclusively, and the ball pen when he cannot use the fp.

The only one worth having. An Edson Blue.

I have several old old like 52 1/2 with a flexible nib, but I also have this. Can I get help identifying it, what year also. It does not take a normal Waterman's cartridge. They are too long and too large diameter.post-33195-0-84935900-1345112662.jpg Thanks!!!

I Just posted a black one with a gold nib but the same as this. I haven't been able to identify.post-33195-0-83659500-1345116575.jpg

Thought I had already posted this. I have only one from my grandfather. The nib is unusual, it does not look very classic and the nib design is not common. I have been unable to identify it, anybody has information about this model?

I own three Edsons -- ruby red and emerald green, both of which have been discontinued, and the sapphire model, all with medium gold nibs. It's one of my favorite pens of all time. Love the art deco look of its inlaid nib and it's firm nib perfectly suits my writing style.

I would love to add a fine in to my collection, in a color i don't own, like the current black model, but I'm waiting to find a mint used one.

Let me know if you have one for sale!

Thanks.

These are C/F pens, a special size cartridge /converter. The converters can be ordered from selected sources. Prices are steep, though. The cartridges can sometimes be found on the Bay NOS, but with very old ink. You can use them to refill, though. No new cartridges produced any more, sofar.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
