What is your favorite color to draw with?

Thank you! I do not have clear preferences to colors, although I really like orange and blue-cyan :)). I draw by different colors so that you do not get bored)). The only thing I can say is that I like warm shades much more (of course, blue-cyan tinte  like Edelstein Topaz - this one I also really like) then cold. I do not like poisonously tintes like Edelstein Jade or crimson(magenta), and I do not like dry and fast-drying inks)). As for the favorite combination of ink and pen, of all the different options, the my most favorite is Pilot Capless VP w|custom UEF nib and Platinum Carbon Black))

I would like to think that the portrait turned out recognizable, although not with typical angle, but if not, then leave a little intrigue .. :)

I didn't put off the work and take a long break, and make new sketch by comfortable nib. Today without intrigue - Salvatore.

I think I posted the companion drawing to this on FPN somewhere. This was drawn in the ACEO format which is 2.5" x 3.5".

If I remember correctly this is all Legal Lapis ink except in the flower.

Why not.

I grinded the nib a little more, because I didn’t really like how it wrote, sometimes too “dry”, or sometimes too “thick”.

:) I also like honey, but for me it is more associated with amber.

Your drawings and tributes are wonderful. They humanize the wretched war.  It’s not that we do not recognize these are people rising in defense and some dying. Getting to see their faces helps to show the cost.

@Andrew_L  you are a supremely  talented artist. Good luck in the postage stamp submission.

Thanks a lot @Misfit and @inkstainedruth. It didn't work out with the postage stamps, but they chose a better one, as suggested above (noted) with a tractor pulling a tank!

Oh, dear. That was obvious, wasn't it? I'm sorry it didn't work out. Next time.

Hmmm.  Instead of the link about the poll, I got to some page saying that my computer was infected with malware.... 😞

Guess I'm not looking.  I shared the video @Andrew_Lbased his submission on with a bunch of people.  What a couple of cut-ups!

I have filters active. It probably can't get through to me or it's an ad. I changed the link to another site.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
