By the way, you don't have a monopoly on stupidity. If I spelled out my life, you'd relax and realize you're actually a genius who stuffed up only once.

Thanks

Can I quote this? Seriously, this is a good one.

Hard times don't last, but hard people do.

Thank a Veteran.

Feel free, but the best one was was for my wish for 1,000 MB followers to unthinkingly inscribe nib details on the plastic barrel of their MB 149's with a pen knife.

Thanks

Well sometimes a sumgai sometimes a smuck! I knew better too but the little devil sumgai on my shoulder got the better of me this time. This pen arrived today, in its pleather MB case. Now to start the process of getting my money back.

Paypal ruled in my favor so I'll get my money back soon. The seller gave me a fake address somewhere in Wisconsin so UPS is going to return the pen to me. As soon as I provide Paypal with proof of my shipment then they will refund my money. I guess I'm going to end up with a free (minus what I paid to ship to WI) fake Montblanc. I guess things didn't end up so bad after all. I'm glad eBay and Paypal have policies set in place to protect buyers like me.

As far back as May ( or even before ) fake serial number EN1340225 was being sold and all were warned. I'm sorry but I think this is bad news.

Thanks

Yes, I got one of these Chopin from FPN member.

Please see: http://www.fountainp...howtopic=129061

Luckily, same as David I got refund, but whole thing was very unpleasant experience.

yupp, I caught one too!

I am so glad I googled the serial number and found this page! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I bought this one on ebay - but I guess my instinkts were alarming me, because before I bought the pen, I googled " Montblank EN1340225" but I havent found anything. Than I did the transfer. And now - I should sleep, but I was so unsettled somehow - and tiped only "EN1340225" into Google - wich led me here.

My money, unfortunatelly has been transferred, but I contacted ebay and they told me, that the seller has been contacted and I can send the pen back and should get my money back - fingers crossed!

The seller even put the serial number into the description -

Also I noticed after I read this post, that the serial number on the picture is not carved in the pen, rather somehow painted or burned onto the pen. I cannot see properly - and I don´t have the pen yet. Something like "Pix" is even scratched on the inside of the clasp, but not on the biger ring of the cap. If you look at the diamond of the fake one, it looks similar, but somehow biger and pointier at the ends.

I bought another MB pen too, this one looks like authentic (bordeaux). I found out, it one buys a pen, it can be sent to MB customer service and they check the pen authenticity - cost 66€ - which I definitelly will do, after the bordeaux pen arrived. On ebay the product can be returned untill 30 days from the date of the purchase. The checkup will take 11 days longest - also checked that.

Also, I noticed later, that the CD in the fake pen box ist also a fake - compared to the bordeaux one. The bordeaux one has "Pix" twice on the cap, which should be an authenticity sign.

I have non of the pens untill now - those are pics from both seller.
