The investigator played by Catherine Zeta-Jones in Ocean's Eleven uses a Montblanc Starwalker resin ballpoint to sign some papers.

Recall a pen scene in a film I think was called A Brilliant Mind when the actor playing John Nash was presented with a load of pens by others in the dining room. There must have been at least one of 'ours' in there somewhere.

 

Oh and Helen Mirram playing the Queen, I am sure she uses a 144 solitaire in one scene and I didnt like the way she through it in her handbag when finished with it either !!!!!

Think it was more of a 'movie' tradition but if not what a great incentive :)
