So does anyone know the colour and scent of this year's MB Xmas ink?

Eep, I only just discovered MB Racing Green, which has become one of my favorite inks... now wondering if I should stockpile a few bottles. :unsure:

Bought the last bottle of MB Racing Green from the San Francisco boutique today... they also had a bottle of violet and Love Letter, so I got those too... :)

Oh, and I took home a platimun-trimmed 145 F nib... since I was there... (you know, my 144 M nib is just too fat to use at work... really, it is!) :)

I have just ordered a couple of bottles of Racing Green from Wheelers (£7.25 including tax). They confirm the changes for the UK - racing green is discontinued. I believe they still have some in stock. Check with them if interested on:

They have the new order form to hand offering the new range and lacking the discontinued stuff, so any time now it seems.

They have the new order form to hand offering the new range and lacking the discontinued stuff, so any time now it seems.

 

Oh, I'd better keep an eye on their website then.

About the Racing Green - When I was in the boutique this week, I did buy a bottle and asked the rep if it was discontinued. He said, "I don't think so, they're still sending it to us." I still bought the bottle he had just in case, but was suprised to hear him say it was still coming in as I thought (from reading in FPN) that it was discontinued??

I hope you're right but I was told it was discontinued with certainty. There will still be a lot sloshing around in the system for a time no doubt. But when it becomes rare I feel that you will be glad you bought that bottle. Me, I'm stockpiling. :)

With the new FPN rules, now I REALLY don't know what to put in my signature.

The bottles are 60ml and the price is $30 AUD...I am sure it will be cheaper in the US as you all get very spoilt there by Montblanc.

Adelaide Arcade are the only legitamite Montblanc dealers aside from David Jones in Adelaide that I am aware of, be careful buying from other places as your warranty won't be honoured.

The new inks have no arrival date as yet, and I am still trying to get a photo of the bottle for you all to look at. I shall be sure to tell you all as soon as they arrive.

 

As for the Racing Green and Violet I have spoken to our Montblanc representatives and they have not been told of any discontinuation of these colours. I of course realise that being in Australia sometimes we are the last to know anything. I will also let you know that we have plenty of these colours in stock should any of you need them. :thumbup:

You know my thoughts are about the bottle.. the current design is superb I am dying to find out what the new one could be like.. I mean will we like it even more?
