Thanks for the photo! I'm really excited about those new colors.

And I believe you said the new bottles will be 60ml instead of the current 50ml. Do you know the new price?

The bottles are 60ml and the price is $30 AUD...I am sure it will be cheaper in the US as you all get very spoilt there by Montblanc.

I think it's another step towards making MB a luxury brand. Redefine the inks. Rename existing ones, and introducing new ones. Then release them at a higher price. Much like what Caran d'Ache has done a couple of years ago when they inroduced their Colours of the Earth inks.

Anyone heard any more about that saffron ink mentioned with the Gandhi pen?

If I didnt know better I would say that was a joke!

And smells like Pilau rice?

I'll miss Turquoise, and will probably replace it with the light sky blue.

Toffee brown will replace my Sepia.

I can imagine what Midnight blue will look like and will be useful as a darker blue.

Very curious about the Oyster grey and purple (I'm guessing it will be lighter than the violet)

And I'm guessing Mystery black will be a more saturated black than the current one.

I'm looking forward to the sudden variety but not the price increase.

Perhaps mystery black will be invisible ink :)

Please no one throw anything at me :D but are they really all new colors or just a repacking and renaming of some of the existing colors? I hate to see some of my favorites go, like Sepia, or Bordeaux...

So no Green at all.

That's why I bought a boatload of BRG.

Hard times don't last, but hard people do.

Thank a Veteran.

Don't think it's a joke. I was told that there will be an orange ink released with the Gandhi when I was in the MB factory in June.

I think most of the inks will be the same, but in different packaging.

And everyone thought I meant it to be an April's Fool thing when I first shared the news.

You'll get my 149 only when you pry it from my cold dead fingers.

I'll defend MB against the "jewelry" argument.

I think that the wing-nib is the greatest thing since the opposable thumb.

But...

It's just a box!

Yeah, the box is really nice looking, but... I agree. It's just a box. I currently pay $11.00 a bottle for MB ink. I wonder how much they're going to jack the price. :(

I hope they don't change the shape of the bottle either. After that, I hope I don't have to pay more for ink.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
