Namiki VP Raden. Might top that this fall when (if) I get my work bonus, but I still haven't decided what I really want.

MB WE Proust set. As for a single pen, the Stipula Laurus.

Neither get too much use because they are too heavy. They just look pretty :headsmack:

Pelikans originals of their time are a win-win combination though.

Pelikan Lighthouse of Alexandria

The list price for this one was higher at the time, but I didn't pay as much for my Stipula Bernini:

I like the Lighthouse, though the other one may be a bit much for me...maybe.

Not to be crass, but since it's on-topic, how much do these cost?

In one of the threads, I said I paid three grand for the pen (before tax), which was about 20% off list at the time. Since then, the Dollar vs. Euro hasn't been doing so well, so the current list is around $3900.

Frits B' My Namiki LE 2002 "Owl":

Australians will recognize it: Ninox scutulata, the Brown Hawk Owl, a close relative to the Barking Owl and Boobook.

Beautiful pen Fritz! are the eyes of the owl iridescent? or is that appearance from the photo?

Would also enjoy seeing the 'other seasons'.. have never seen that pen before!

Will take some photos when the I have some spare time of the four facets.

Regards,

Soki

The Cross Apogee that my parents gave for my birthday.

Yes, I am poor.

Don't say that, this pen given to you by your beloved one is of the highest value

Mine is the Charlie Chaplin made by Montblanc.

I made a post about it here:

https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/in...charlie+chaplin

I just found the right case for it too, a crocodile case long out of production but which I saw new in a shop in Houston. I actually bought two, one a double case and one for a single pen. An update and quasi-review of the pen is coming soon, maybe this week.

OMG,I cant wait to read this review and if I my ask LOTS of pictures please of the pen and the box

My most valuable pen is probably the Jet Black Patrician, which I bought years ago for $25. I never use it, don't know why.

The pen I paid the most for (so far) is the Pelikan M450, which is still on it's way to me.

$25? Is that a sumgai score perhaps? :D

Legacy Palladium, Black Lacquer, touchdown filler, left oblique nib. Still on Todd's website here: http://isellpens.com/usedpens.html

Outside of that, most of my pens are vintage, originally under $50 or so, but have been sending them out for restoration. I'd like to have a Parker Maxima, and/or an M800, but those will wait until the Miami Pen Show in July...then my most expensive pen answer will probably change.

Much Love--Virginia

My most expensive pen is my Pelikan M650.

Paid just less than #200 for it.

So far my pens have not exceed $200 each yet.

The most expensive pen I own is the one that hasn't arrived yet -- a Dollar 717i, for which I forwarded the princely sum of US$15. That's a couple bucks more than I paid for the Yafa that's my current writer, and just about the limit of my budget at present.

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.

For me, it's the Binder/Bexley/Broadwell Pharoah.

For The Redhead (Janet) it would be her 1930's Pelikan 100N tortoise barrel with red cap.

Both are phenomenal, for different reasons which actually have nothing to do with price.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
