My dad got a lathe for Christmas and he immediately started turning pens for me and my mom. What are your recommendations for good sources for the pen mechanics? He's less familiar with the writing aspect than the woodworking and wants to make sure he gets good parts. Thank you!
Hi all, I am new to fountain pens, and my parents gifted me a hand turned kit pen for my birthday recently. I really love the pen itself, but the nib has had some hard starting and flow issues. I was just wondering what replacement nib options I had to choose from. I have included three pictures of the nib, let me know if you need more. The graph paper is 4 squares per inch in the background. The nib says "Iridium Point Germany" and takes short international standard cartridges. Thanks for all your help, Obsidian
BLACKSTONE AXIOM This pen was available for review on FPN for review and was made available by Just Write Company and I happened to be at right place at right time and also I was lucky enough to be selected amongst many to review this pen. I thank Kevin for sending me across the pen and later on the inks too for review. I have extensively used this pen and this actually is detailed review of the pen. DESIGN & BUILT: 3.5/5 The pen arrived in very well packaged PU leather zip case along with the spare JoWo nib as the pen was available for review with two nib options. Blackston
I've had this green acrylic sitting around for a while, and an Aristocrat fountain pen kit. So I combined the two on my Harbor Freight lathe and came up with this: Next I'll have to try a kitless, about how many 4 1/2 inch blanks does it take to make a kitless?
