Well for one, they are talking about a "set" and looking at their feedback, I wouldn't be surprised if you received a Melonstuck :P

 

Good luck though; this is why I never shop on flebay though. Best take it into a MB boutique and have the service tech check it over.

I agree. Too many MB fakes out in the market. Need to be careful when purchasing MB off fleabay. But who knows. You may have just struck gold. :)

Kinda (whoa there) off as the picture is the genuine thing but they sent me this (Potty Mouth) one.

 

I've e-mailed the seller, any advice thereafter?

Paypal dispute for a counterfeit good can be a pain in the hoop.

 

You will need to find a professional who will verify it is fake, then have them write this on headed paper then fax this to paypal then wait for an incredibly long time by this stage the buyer has fled oh and then you have to sign and fax a document that you destroyed the pen and then if your lucky and the buyer has money in their account you will be fine :)

I recently purchased what I thought was a very rare Montblanc Rollerball on ebay. Ebay caught it before I did since the seller removed the listing immediately after my purchase. When I received the pen I knew it was a fake immediately and called Montblanc. I sent the pen to them to make sure. It was nice looking, expensive, but also very much a fake. Ebay, paypal and Montblanc have been wonderful. I suggest sending your pen to the New Texas Montblanc facility. They are terrific.

I purchased a pen once on ebay and though the photo was genuine. What turned up was a different story, contacted buyer and he refunded after some reluctance. Contacted ebay and they were not bothered at all.

I just received two Montblanc Vintage pens that I had fixed as well as the fake that I sent to Texas for them to identify. They sent me a letter in order to forward to Paypal and Ebay to help in recovering my investment. I"ve usually been successful selling and buying on ebay and this was my first bad experience. I blame myself for being so impulsive. Actually, my husband, who says a .19 bic is fine for him (not that they are .19 any longer) saw this pen and said, "You know what, I also think it's beautiful, I'd love to buy it for you for your birthday. I'm starting to see why you love pens so much." I think I was so shocked by this that I just went ahead and purchased it right away. No questions asked of the seller, who, by the way, may have purchased it thinking it was real as well. Maybe not. Hope you try to recover your money and please take advantage of Montblanc's great service. jbclemmer

How about this white Montblanc Fountain Pen?

 

I understand MB never made a white model but the seller had 100 percent positive feedback and assured it was a very limited edition sold in Germany.

 

Please share expertise..

If I'm correct, Sarrelangue; that pen you have there (which is awesome by the way!) is a version of the 1980s Mont Blanc Noblesse.

It has all the correct features so I would definitely treat it as genuine, it is probably a prototype they used, so yeah, it is definitely limited edition, great buy!
