Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Needs must. Is she still alive? Does she now look like the girl who chewed the blueberry gum in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory? I think she is a brave ink lover who had to make a very difficult decision.

This is a great color, by the way!

She's still doing well, though I think she's hiding out....had a little melt down after being questioned in the death of a snow person.

Personally, I thought Mrs. Frosty did it.

But Plistumi had ink on her hands.

Looks like a crime of an addink who couldn't get her hands on a bottle of the perfect blue...

Very punny.

Oh I'm still spooked by that incident. So much so, I have decided to lower my profile somewhat. Shhh....

All I can say is that if this is what happens when you drink ink - any kind of ink - I don't want to be there to call 9-1-1.

So, Napalm, have you been stalking me?

BTW check out this description of people who share my birthday.

Personality of this day...

Those born on April 6 have an irresistible urge to experiment with what they find around them. In this respect they are scientific, peering and probing into all corners of emotional, physical and psychological matters. Nothing is free from their scrutiny, and they will go to any length to find out the truth about something or to see how it works. Many born on this day not only bring a childlike curiosity to bear, but also demonstrate an ability to lead the way in producing highly original material.

Even in the most mundane areas, including for instance everyday business or workaday life, these tireless seekers will find out what is wrong (for there is always something wrong) and try to correct it. Their basic underlying drive is to get to the bottom of things. Of course, if experimenting is required, they may be in need of guinea-pigs; April 6 people will readily place not only friends, family and even total strangers in this role, but also themselves. They are merciless when seeking answers.

Whenever they are in doubt about anything, the approach of those born on this day is to discuss it logically. Their minds are open and highly speculative, but they will usually rest their theories on results of tests or experience. The problem comes when they get results which they hadn’t expected. In such situations, more advanced April 6 people accept that their original hypothesis was wrong, but the more stubborn and less enlightened ones will refuse to reconsider, seeking over and over again to find results which fit their theory. In this they can manifest a blindness which is disturbing to those around them.

My personality forecast says that generally I'm a bozo, albeit smart enough to not stalk a lawyer ;)

Thanks for the info (I only used B&W film and learned to process that).   Boy -- the stuff I learn here!  Just continually astounded at the depth and breadth of knowledge in this community! Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

It just wasn't likely to have been Kodachrome.  It would have been the films I referred to as "other color films." (Kodachrome is not a generic term for color film. It is a specific film that produces transparencies, or slides, by a process not used for any other film. There are other color trans

@Ceilidh -- Well, I knew people who were photography majors in college, and I'm pretty sure that at least some of them were doing photos in color, not just B&W like I learned to process.  Whether they were doing the processing of the film themselves in one of the darkrooms, or sending their stuff out to be processed commercially?  That I don't actually know, but had always assumed that they were processing their own film. Kodachrome 25 was the most accurate film for clinical photography and was used by dermatologists everywhere. I got magnificent results with a Nikon F2 and a MicroNikkor 60 mm lens, using a manually calibrated small flash on a bracket. I wish there were a filter called "Kodachrome 25 color balance" on my iPhone camera.
