New Mb Le Ink

La Couronne du Comte and Appelboom have stock of the new LE ink, Golden Yellow.

I understand MB did not secure the rights to use the Warhol name on an ink, and were to produce an unnamed ink to tie in with the pens. This may be it, though I was expecting an orange. Can anyone confirm?

I have a different question before i even think of splurging

Would this be legible with a M or a F? Or is it to be used like a highlighter ink?

Would we need a B or BB?? If so then its a waste for me.

Thank you for making this information available. I had not bought any ink for almost 2 weeks & would hate to miss one! I hated to think about that ONE little bottle traveling by itself "over the water" so I added the Diamine Flower set to "keep it company."

Is it possible to buy this ink in any MB boutique or only in LCdC or Appelboom shop?

It will be official released in January, and after that it will also be available in the boutique

That is dangerous indeed, never let a bottle travel by itself!

The writing sample of Appelboom was done with a ''broad'' Medium nib of the 149.

Received my bottle for Christmas and will do a review soon :-)

Since the color matches the yellow ring separating the barrel from the filling know on the Andy Warhol pen, I'm pretty sure that it was intended as the Warhol ink.

Nice and well flowing ink; I'm curious how it compares to Sheaffer's King's Gold or Private Reserve Shoreline gold and Diamine Amber!

Cheers

Michael

Thanks for the info (I only used B&W film and learned to process that).   Boy -- the stuff I learn here!  Just continually astounded at the depth and breadth of knowledge in this community! Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

It just wasn't likely to have been Kodachrome.  It would have been the films I referred to as "other color films." (Kodachrome is not a generic term for color film. It is a specific film that produces transparencies, or slides, by a process not used for any other film. There are other color trans

@Ceilidh -- Well, I knew people who were photography majors in college, and I'm pretty sure that at least some of them were doing photos in color, not just B&W like I learned to process.  Whether they were doing the processing of the film themselves in one of the darkrooms, or sending their stuff out to be processed commercially?  That I don't actually know, but had always assumed that they were processing their own film. Kodachrome 25 was the most accurate film for clinical photography and was used by dermatologists everywhere. I got magnificent results with a Nikon F2 and a MicroNikkor 60 mm lens, using a manually calibrated small flash on a bracket. I wish there were a filter called "Kodachrome 25 color balance" on my iPhone camera.
