Hmmm ... Montblanc and Samsung ... that does not really fit together. Montblanc and Apple would have been a nice combination ... but Samsung ?!

I was just about to post this.

Has anyone seen the prices? I'm not sure what they are, but I imagine they're going to have to be much lower for anyone to buy one compared to their regular pen line, especially when you've shelled out >£500 on a Galaxy Note 4!

Personally, I like to keep my pens with ink and my tech sans-pens...

"Yughck!"

True but are you aware on how different the digital stylus on the Note-series work?

Those phones are perfectly usable without one. But their styluses (s-stylus I think, not sure) works a lot more accurate than the regular ones because the screen has a special sensor (ala wacom tablets) that's great enough for fine drawing and digital painting? S-styluses don't work with normal phones/screens. Believe it or not, they have their place and some people actually benefit from it.

Don't know if the Montblanc is an s-stylus or just a normal "blobby" one though. If it's the latter then it's all hype.

I just saw a lot of new products on the US Montblanc website today! One of which was the PIX which is essentially the new Cruise line in black resin and it comes with a rollerball attachment and the "screen writer" attachment. It was priced at $350 USD. So it's $100 more than the rollerball and you get the stylus attachment. They've also finally put their new white resin to good use!! Some amazing looking Boheme's in white resin! :P

I keep thinking about selling some of my pens but all that happens is I keep acquiring more!

I've used an S-pen before (I used a friend's old Note for a day), but I never really found the use for it. It was too cumbersome to do regular tasks with it, and I found it much easier to type as opposed to write notes with it. The technology was cool, for sure - but it felt like technology for technology's sake.

I can certainly see a use for artists and people who take notes sitting down with the Note as their sole device, but my iPad fulfils all those needs for me and is a much better experience as the screen is much bigger.

The next iPhone is being unveiled on Tuesday (I quite like Apple, as you can see by my avatar :P ) apparently will have either a 4.7" or 5.5" screen. The 5.5" sounds a tad big to me, so it'll be interesting to see how they market it considering they poopooed larger screened phones at their previous events.

The Montblanc stylus is apparently an S-pen, though I can only imagine that it'll appeal to a very small group of people.
