The 149 would be someone fat and ostentatious(Pavarotti?), the 146 an elegant-but-boring celebrity(Brad Pitt?), and the others I don't know enough about :)

If you make people think they're thinking, they'll love you; But if you really make them think, they'll hate you.

Hmmm. Brad Pitt looks downright scrawny to me and totally unattractive. The 149 would be a tall, good looking, athletic guy like Hugh Jackman. <female sigh of delight>

My sister would agree with you.

Don't forget we have to choose someone who also have a bad rep that would be more accurate in term of describing an MB to some people.

149- The huge fat guy (who likely also has enough authority to make your life hell) at meetings. Is a powerful presence in the room (physically and mentally).

146- A calm and collected person. Being highly intelligent, he/she is the go to person when people have a problem. Dressed in a slightly vintage vibe, but always ahead of the pack sartorial matters. The only one in the office who challenges this person is the above person.

147- Mildly insecure. Some times develops an inferiority complex in the presence of the above person.

L'Etoile- The woman who wears too many baubles, trying to present an image of immense power and wealth. Has a mild stench of new money.

Starwalker- The hipster in the corner you never talk to.

Boheme- The effortlessly pretty woman. Sophisticated, and has more than a few tricks up her sleeve.

Generation- The older person who is constantly trying to remain relevant. Has nine lives and has made made more than a few comebacks worthy of Lazarus.

Hmm. How about Naveen Andrews, the hunk that plays Saeed, the bad boy on "Lost"? He could be our 146. And Hugh DID play Wolverine. <grin>

I think the 149 should be Sir Anthony Hopkins - he looks so 'cool' but can be so BAD!!!!

146 could be Hugh Jackman - versatile in the extreme

147 has to be a woman I think - but with some attitude - maybe Madonna

The others I really can't say.

Each day is the start of the rest of your life!

Make it count!!!

Odd. Some folks have said the 149 would be a "big fat guy." Maybe I agree, but it would have to be a man of substance - girth as well as sophistication and a good mind. I am thinking maybe Winston Churchill or Alfred Hitchcock.

The 146? Someone with equal sophistication, yet more slim and ever so insightful. How about Franz Kafka?

The 144? Very similar criteria, yet feminine. How about Visginia Woolfe? (I don't care that the last two have LE's.)

Hmm. We're revealing a division of perspectives here. Some of you think of the 149 as outsized and the 146 as a "normal" size. Whereas I think of the 149 as a normal sized pen as my other pen brand LEs are all this size and I prefer it, while the 146 is the little squirt to me.

Good choice. I like the 149, but its just too big and brash most of the time. The 146 hits a good conciliatory tone.

Thanks for the info (I only used B&W film and learned to process that).   Boy -- the stuff I learn here!  Just continually astounded at the depth and breadth of knowledge in this community! Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

It just wasn't likely to have been Kodachrome.  It would have been the films I referred to as "other color films." (Kodachrome is not a generic term for color film. It is a specific film that produces transparencies, or slides, by a process not used for any other film. There are other color trans

@Ceilidh -- Well, I knew people who were photography majors in college, and I'm pretty sure that at least some of them were doing photos in color, not just B&W like I learned to process.  Whether they were doing the processing of the film themselves in one of the darkrooms, or sending their stuff out to be processed commercially?  That I don't actually know, but had always assumed that they were processing their own film. Kodachrome 25 was the most accurate film for clinical photography and was used by dermatologists everywhere. I got magnificent results with a Nikon F2 and a MicroNikkor 60 mm lens, using a manually calibrated small flash on a bracket. I wish there were a filter called "Kodachrome 25 color balance" on my iPhone camera.
