I would love a Stipula saturno in green, but they are hard to find. What are some of yours?

Green is my favorite color! So is Brown! :) Having said that, my favorite green pens in my possesion are the Danitrio Nami Nuri, Pelikan M650, and Nakaya Heki Tamenuri.

Ah, that fresh ink on paper look!

Sadly, my other favorite green pens, also Stipulas, are similarly difficult to find. :) Like my piston-filling ebonite Novecento. The Brunelleschi. The Novecento in aqua (same celluloid as the Brunelleschi).

I wish they did more green, blue, and/or purple pens. It's my only complaint, really.

I love my green Parker Vac! I'm also wanting to get one of those green Pelikans someday.

I need more green pens; seeing as it is my favourite colour - at the moment I have a Parker Victory in Green, a CS 21 in Green Marble (my favourite finish), the Lamy Safari in Lime Green and a Waterman Charleston in Green with gold trim. I'd love to have some nice celluloids or something in the future... or a Pelikan :)

Wanted List: Pelikan M800 F; GvFC Pernambuco F

I have one and it's one of my favourites :bunny01: I have a Visconti Copernicus in green as well and it too is a lovely pen. APPLEMAN (aka Chris) made me a body and cap out of green and black ebonite for my Sheaffer II factory stub nib and I love it.

My favorite green pen also happens to be my only one, an M1000

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v719/michaelwhitesides/Pelikan%20M1000/M1000Posted.jpg

I've got two nibs with it, a stock fine nib and a medium nib that Richard turned into a delightful stub:

The pen is currently inked with Parker Penman Emerald. :)

My green Saturno is my workhorse. I am chomping at the bit for a CS 100 bespoke in Pistachio, which would probably not unseat the Saturno...but it would be a close call. I do also like the older (90's) Parker Duofold Centennial in marbled green.

My jade green Duofold. What a great pen, no matter how much I write it doesn't balk at me. It only acts up when fed ink that's a bit too free flowing, as it is a wet writer.

I'd rather spend my money on pens instead of shoes and handbags.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
