Visconti Opera Elements not very popular?

I always go with the first impression.:) Exception to this was the Pilot Capless/VP, which I warmed up to its design after reviewing it on the various web sites. When I see some pens, I usually tell I like them or not right on the spot by looking at their designs and mechanism. I did not click with this pen when I saw it first time.

Since each of the Visconti Opera Elements has its unique color patterns, maybe that is partly why it is priced so high.
