I just got a note from the manufacturer that price information will be available in ~2 weeks.

Variations of this pen will be shown on this year's pen show in Cologne, Germany.

Cheers

I love everything about it apart from the ink windows, I think it would look even more classy with a simple clear window like Pelikans!

All the best.

Ah, it looks like they do have models with more conventional-looking ink windows, then. Cool.

I for one love the port hole ink windows, a cool departure from the old standard shape. A new pen to lust after, just what I needed.

The ink windows and wood grain hard rubber is what sells it for me too. There is definitely a nice whimsical nautical look to, and whimsical is a great quality in my eye. Definitely a pen I will be keeping an eye on

FP Ink Orphanage-Is an ink not working with your pens, not the color you're looking for, is never to see the light of day again?!! If this is you, and the ink is in fine condition otherwise, don't dump it down the sink, or throw it into the trash, send it to me (payment can be negotiated), and I will provide it a nice safe home with love, and a decent meal of paper! Please PM me!For Sale: TBA

It's been a long time so I'll ask.... What is the cost. I couldn't find a price on their website. If it one of those "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" issues I guess I'd rather not know.

The only feature to remain the same in all these versions is the wide cap band.

Material

Cap shape

Clip

Barrel shape

Ink view windows (which I don't like either versions)

no thanks

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away.... I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link.... Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.

Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

Take a lot of photos! If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
