Nib cleaning

on my Parker Sonnet cisele. I've had this pen for probably 20 years. It has always been a sporadic starter and left an inconsistent, very dry, line.

 

Ten minutes in the zooba machine and voila! Weter, more consistent line with hardly any difficulty starting (only 1 letter to a page).

 

All I used to clean it was water with one drop of dish washing liquid.

Is interesting to know that a thorough cleaning can solve problems a pen had for years. Don't own an US machine but should think about saving for one. Seems like the Sonnet is either great writer or a hard starter/skipper?
