Hi All. I almost feel like I'm barging in, but well, here I go. I don't know much about fountain pens, a little. I do love them but no aficianado here.

 

That said, I gave an S.T. Dupont to someone in 1984 and he's carried it every since.

 

I was given a gift in 1995 of a Patrice Sebilo. We think it's purpleheart wood, and 14K gold plated. Does anyone know anything about Patrice's pens? The only thing I know is that when he made them, he made them in limited editions of 70/year. And he hasn't been making them for awhile.

 

Mine is nearly new (as I rarely used it) and so I want to sell it but don't know it's worth.

 

Anything anyone can share will be very much appreciated.

Thank you so much for this.....it is what my pen looks like. It's not morta wood. I think it's a wood called purpleheart. But still, it looks just like that.
