No Levenger distributor in the uK that I am aware of.

If you order direct beware of their shipping charges to the UK.

This may help. The levenger_outlet store on eBay has several Pen Parapets listed right now, for $11.95 and for $14.95 (depending on the number of pens they hold). The reduction in price may offset the shipping charges.

:o :headsmack:  Wups. Sorry. andyk notes that the outlet store on the Web won't ship outside the US. I guess they don't want to mess with the custom forms.

Hi,

Yes they do, generally the most expensive version of USPS. I enquired a while ago if they had a cheaper option they said no but if I knew somebody in the USA get them to buy for me and then ship to me by a cheaper option. I think I was looking at a pen worth about $40 (one of their Demos in a sale) and the shipping was I think about $35, so really not worth it.

If you look at their ebay outlet store, they won't ship outside the US at all (so I guess that differs from their actual shops/website).

Has anyone asked RenArt if they could make anything like this. Or is all of their stuff "heavy duty"?

After checking this forum and searching the internet for an A5 notebook that has the kind of flexibility of the Levenger Circa system I finally caved in and ordered a couple of Junior size covers, tab dividers, discs in 2 different sizes and the hole punch (I want to avoid having to continue ordering from the US in the future due to the obvious costs involved) - initially it was expensive but soooo worth it.

I can honestly say it's the most flexible system I've ever used and I can't see myself using anything else! It beats everything I've ever tried hands down!!!

I already had an A5 leather notebook cover which fits the Junior perfectly using the 1/2 inch disks, as this is what I carry around I don't need it to hold anything bigger (however, if I turn the leather cover around so the left side is to the right I can fit a Junior with 3/4 inch disks without problems).

I finally have ONE leather bound notebook with EVERYTHING in it instead of carrying around 2-3 moleskine's/notebooks.

Hi

I tend to use cigar cases, come in different shapes/sizes 5 of mine are hard cases (in various sizes/lengths and the largest can take my biggest pen a Laban Mento).

See link below for a photo of one of them.

They can often be picked up cheaply, I have 3 that I bought for between £7/£10 inc postage,

Hi Pixel:

I don't know if this would be practical for you..............but perhaps you could have someone in the US purchase the Levenger items for you and in exchange, you could buy something for that person (maybe something special only available in the UK). Then each of you sends the packages to each other.

I once did this when I was desperate to get my hands on some Elnett hairspray. It has a cult following and has been unavailable in the US up until now. This was the only way I could think of to get the stuff and it worked quite well.

Hope this helps!

XOXOXO

Lily

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
