Old version Visconti Van Gogh Marbled Honey White, white gold fine point - a very smooth writer - with Schmidt black ink

Also using my Mont Blanc Noblesse rollerball equipped with a Pentel Energel 0.5 needle point refill in black - yes, this inexpensive rollerball refill is a perfect fit in MB rollerball pens and writes like a dream

M1000 with Black with sailor black ink and M1005 with MB Irish Green...

It holds a lot of ink, probably will be carrying the same gear for another day...

Life is like Chinatown signage, its cluttering, confusing but everything that you need is there, just have to look harder....

In the photo is my pens which I'm mostly using this time. In work I use some of these, but I also use cheap pens from employer and pharmreps (I don't want to get blood and other body fluids to my pens). Pens are Lamy Safari (rollerball), Parker (fountain), Ballograf (fountain), Sheaffer (rollerball), Cross x2 and Parker Jotter (both ballpoint).

But a birth certificate I always sign with fountain pen. I just think that it is so "ceremonial thing" that it should be done with a proper pen.

Bulow X750 Vertrag, M nib

My very first fountain pen (got it as a gift this Christmas). It's not very expensive/fancy but I've been having fun with it. Filling the converter was..interesting (thankfully wasn't very messy haha). Definitely looking forward to getting more FPs in the future. :)

I got 2 pens from Goulet Pens, a couple of the preppy pens, one was a package deal with some Noodler's Lexington Gray ink and 3 Lamy X-F nibs for my 2 Safari's and logo pen. I was surprised to find that the XF nib did not like Lamy branded blue ink. Go figure.

No affiliation to Goulet Pens except for being a very satisfied repeat customer.

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.
    • Ceilidh
Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
