I've fallen in love with an older 146.

In addition to my 149 (now with Quink BB), I'm using a 1970s Sheaffer school pen inked up with Sheaffer Brown ink. Just got it in the mail from ebay for $3.

I couldn't resist the pen as it's the same model as the first FP I ever used. So its been a bit of a trip down memory lane today.

Today, the Waterman Sérénité and the Pelikan Place de la Concorde. A really French day :D

The Place de la Concorde is my most "uplifting" pen, and the Sérénité by far the most comfortable.

Five pens are inked:

Dani Trio Mikado-size Matte Ebonite with stub nib, filled with Noodler's Blue Black. A definitive winner.

Omas Ogiva (full size) burgundy with medium nib, filled with Noodler's Sawaro Wine. This is such a smooth experience...

medium.jpg

Pelikan M200 Anthracite, stub nib by Pendemonium with back Quink. Excellent!

Sheaffer Imperial in Cadmium Yellow, with fine nib and 1/2 Montblanc red + 1/2 Sheaffer King's Gold. Yes, I am proofreading papers these days!

Pilot VP with Pendemonium's stub nib and Noodler's Standard Brown. Lovely!

I must add that I am extremely happy with the nibs I bought from Pendemonium. They turned pens that rarely entered my rotation in all time favorites.

Today I took two oldies but goodies - a black Sheaffer Imperial Touchdown with a springy (almost semi flex) wet medium nib, and my trusty Parker 75.

Hey great minds think alike!

I ended up using my new (to me) cisele Parker 75 filled with Waterman Blue and a copper-finished, stub-nibbed Sheaffer Legacy 2 that was filled with PR Copper Burst. I also ended up doodling with my black Sheaffer Intrigue with a great stub nib.

Any day is made better by writing with a good pen...

The Legacy 2 combo sounds fantastic. Glad to hear you picked up a cisele 75. I can't say enough about how much I like that pen. I thought I'd never like a small pen until I started carrying it around.

Today it's the same Balium Core. Happens to be the only pen I was using today. Of course, it's filled with PR Shoreline Gold. :P

Today, I am using a Reform medium nib filled with Noodlers La Colour Royale. It is a good pen to take during out door activities.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
