Hi,

You seem to be listing at competative prices. However, it would be easier for potential customers to know if they're interested if, when you post an updated list of available pens, you also indicate what nibs are on each and when there may be a choice of nibs.

I'm not interested in a med Pelican nib, for instance, but I'm not going to PM for each pen that is in the price range and type I prefer in order to ID which nib it has.

I did not list out the nibs size for the pens as i got almost all the nibs size for all the pens im selling now.

If I had the cash I'd be buying new Pelikans from Bill too, without hesitation.

 

I didn't buy my very first Pelikan, the new M605, from Bill, because I was unsure about shipping times and any fees I may have needed to pay considering where he lives [overseas from me].

While my new M605 did arrive in record time, brand new with all the boxes and paperwork [and with the F nib I had wanted that was also so very hard to find without doing a nib-swap], the Seller was very rude to me.

When I had asked that Seller if the M605 was "as described" on his eBay Site, also asked some other questions I had felt were reasonable, he got really nasty with me for daring to even ask [things I've read that some sellers on our forum have done to buyers here and to me that's just plain wrong, morally and ethically, no matter what their reasons may be].

Despite hearing others here have had no problems with that "other Seller" I'd bought my M605 from, I can't help but wonder if others here have also had similar "issues" with the same Seller and were just afraid to say so since he is well known to block buyers when they ask any questions he doesn't like hearing.

When I had called eBay, inquired about that "other Seller" post-sale, I was informed by an eBay CS Supervisor that he does this to buyers that merely wanted additional information, blocking them from ever buying from him again, totally unnecessary and inappropriate IMHO.

eBay is filing this information I had given them with the other complaints they have on file, they are and have been investigating his poor selling habits to determine if they should block his ability to sell on the eBay Site or fine him for inappropriate business tactics on their Website.

 

Seeing now that Bill actually welcomes questions, hearing he has always replied politely to members here, I would have rather given Bill my money instead of to the "other guy", knowing what I know now.

So in the future, when the time comes that I can actually afford to buy another Pelikan, I will go with Bill in-an-ink-drop [or heartbeat] before going with most other sellers; so Bill definitely has my vote of confidence now!
