Ideas for Personalized Stationery

Jeen,

I was thinking of getting their blue (looks like Nile Blue from Smythson) in their classic book. I already have monarch sheets on order, so perhaps in the Kent size. :) I was considering the Stoneleigh size too. The size of the paper depends on the color I choose because not all sizes are available. So I'll have to see how the font looks with my name. :) Not sure what color to get. I suppose Regent Blue is a natural choice with blue. Any ideas on color choice?? May get liners for the envelopes too, but that's another decision to make.

Centurion,

They have several blues, but don't recall seeing one as dark as Smythson's Nile blue.

There's Cambridge, a very nice blue, but it is much lighter.

Black or a navy blue would go nicely with Cambridge. Regent might work, but I'd have to see it in person to be sure.

On the subject of blue, one of their liners is a nice "shirt pin stripe" pattern of blue and white that you may want to check out.

What will your Monarch sheets look like?

Gold dragon motif, on white paper. there were other motifs i liked but were't available. I always seem to get ecru, so i went with white. perhaps the gold will look better and sharper against white?? if not, i'd go back to ecru. can't get monarch sheets in other colors.

maybe the blue i was looking at isn't nile blue, it's a light blue, forget the name crane uses though. so with the die sale, i am thinking of another order in a different size. is kent considered a feminine size? perhaps so, but i guess it's ok these days were the "rules" aren't that rigid. yes, i did see the navy shirt liner, it looked good. :)

Hey Centurion,

Gold and white always looks great. Nice choice.

Yeah, not many color choices in Monarch.

As to the Kent, I think its gender neutral.
