I got a very good deal on a handful of these. They write a very fine line. I put converters in most of them, and they've been very reliable for me. All the clips on tight! :)

I'd say it's a good budget pen.

How can you tell when you're out of invisible ink?

Hmmm.

I have a Penatia Lexington, almost the same thing but instead of the orange color, it is gloss black with steel;

No issues with the clip on mine, and it writes pretty smoothly, although with Noodlers ink I think it runs a little slow in mine (if I write too fast it goes dry...although I'm a little new to these so it could be my writing technique)

Necroposting here.  In a big way, apparently (at least if a 15-year old thread is an example... :huh:).

I just picked up what I think is a Penatia Madison in an antiques store today.  Turned out the store's "pen guy" is from my local pen club :lol:.  He said that Penatia was a sub-brand of Cross, and that they take International Standard cartridges and converters (I figure I can test if that's true with some leftover Edelstein Amethyst cartridges from the first Pelikan Hub I went to).

So now I'm trying to amass more info about the pen (I figured that for three bucks it was worth a gamble -- I like my two Cross Solos, but I think those were made for Cross by Pilot).  And in the meantime keep searching through other old threads.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."
