I have just inked my CS 58 with a cart of this and it is beautiful. A true, dark 'jewel-like' green. I will definitely be buying a bottle when I next put my order in to Diamine.

As a further thought, do others see the colour of Woodland Green as midway between between J. Herbin Lierre Sauvage and PR Ebony Green?

I find Woodland Green to be a fairly bright, cheerful bluish green, not nearly as dark as pictured here, but then the OP did say this was a wet nib. By adding just a little red, such as Arabian Rose or Amaranth, it can be made a little more somber, to resemble Diamine umber, or PR Ebony Green.

Hi, and thanks for the review. I just got some of this ink. I think it is a very bright and "happy" looking green. Mine seems a lot brighter than in your scan and I do like it, but it doesn't look "Woodland" to me. But I do like it and will keep using it, but will keep looking for a darker woody-forest green.

Nice review - thanks.

Can you comment on it's water resistance?

It looks like it does for green what Majestic Blue does for blue. However, I find Majestic Blue awfully sensitive to even a drop of water. How is Woodland Green?

That is a nice looking color, looks almost identical to the way my Noodler's Green Marine looks in a wetter writer.

I have currently been loving Diamine Sherwood Green, I love green ink, I may have to have this Woodland because you mention it has shading properties. The somewhat darker appearing, more business like Sherwood does not show much shading even in my pens that write quite wet.

Thank you for posting your review.
