How is that pen is it nice? How smooth does it write? Does it take ink cartridges? I am buying one online, I thought I was buying a Hemisphere but, I saw this.

I have a Waterman Phileas in Green Marble with a fine nib and two other Waterman Phileas with medium nibs. They are nice, smooth, reliable pens. I've had the green one for about five years. It takes cartridge or convertor.

I thought my green Phileas had a bad nib on it, but it turns out it just really didn't like the FPN Noodler's Galileo Manuscript Brown. Now that I have an alternative ink in it, it works quite well. The Phileas and its variants are good writers in my experience.

The Phileas is a good pic and usually a good deal at the usual retail price. They are large enough in size for adult hands, and have smooth and forgiving nibs. If you prefer a plastic pen to a metal one then the Phileas is the better pick than the Hemisphere.

My marbled green medium Phileas has been my workhorse for the last two years. It is smooth, wet and reliable. From the reviews and feedback on the forum it seems like others have enjoyed the Phileas too. I hope you enjoy yours.

Slightly OT: Does the Kultur have the same nib as the Phileas?

Thanks,

Mihai
