I have had plenty of orders with Pendemonium and find them to be first class - excellent service, well priced, great range and their advice is spot on. I have also had limited experience with James at Pear Tree and that experience was excellent too. Recommend them both highly.

has anbody gotten a pen from pensandwatches.com? they seem to have a good selection of vintage stuff, and i like how detailed the descriptions are. some feedback would be appreciated. :)

He's been around since forever. I bought a BCHR Waterman 52 from his in the late 1990s. More recently (around 2005?) I bought a Cedar Blue Parker "51" with a flexible nib. Good prices, good pens, but always user grade, at least the ones I've seen. Doesn't bother me since I buy pens to write with.

thanks for the info! that pretty much confirms the good impression i got from the site.

i shall now have a long, serious talk with my bank account....

I can recommend Norman Hasse at HisNibs.com and Todd Nussbaum at ISellPens.com. Both gentlemen are terrific to work with. I have a nib out for Binderizing with Richard and Barbara, and they've been great too.

Swisherpens.com

I have worked with them on a couple of small orders and also a couple of times on large, complicated orders, and I recommend them highly in all situations.

What about www.montgomerypens.com? Their prices are very competitive and often tops; I have done LOTS of looking. Haven't purchased from them but am planning on doing so soon. Has anyone used them?

Pam Braun!!!!

Oscar Braun Pens

I found out about her through this board and now she is the only US store I will buy fountain pens from (as longs as she stocks them) as her service is excellent, communications polite and her prices unbeatable.

No affiliation, no connection, nothing - just a very very happy customer.
