Pelikan Future

Just adding a view of the Future although this topic is really in the past.

 

I ordered the silver in B with the giant size cartridges in Koenigsblau. I am giving it to my PT who as seen me through my hip and my knee problems and who knows I am fountain pen fancier. He does not use a fountain pen. I have given Lamy Safaris to kids and grandkids and vintage sets of Rotrings to my daughter-in-laws.

 

I found the Future plastic really too shiny and slippery feeling to speak for Pelikan quality. The nib, however, is terrific! I have 3 vintage Pelikano school pens, a PelikanGO, and a Pelikan that looks like a Vector, but has a colorful space cowboy graphic on it. I think the stainless steel nibs are all the same.

 

I also have nice examples 0f 100s through 400s including Rappen and Ibis.
