Nikko Font-A-Pan

Hi Everybody,

I bought this pen some years ago. I should have bought a dozen... It is a 'disposable' fountain pen, obviously made by Nikko, but I have been refilling it with Parker Quink Ink, which works very well. I pull the nib section out, and dropper ink into the fibrous filling in the barrel.

The nib is quite stiff and very smooth, writing as well as many of my other pens, including the comparison Vector. It is a much nicer writer than a Pilot V-Pen, which has a much lighter nib.

They seem to have disappeared from the from the face of the earth. I would love to buy some more if anybody can suggest a supplier, or perhaps we could gang up on Nikko and persuade them to start making it again.

Anyway, herewith, some piccies --

The whole pen, itself

and in comparison with a Parker Vector.

Regards,

David
