Rhodia/Clairefontaine in La Belle France

Just out of curiosity: although they are pricey and hardish to find in the US, I've grown used to assuming that Rhodia/Clairefontaine products are widely available in France. Is that the case? Can you get them at pretty much any stationer? And are they comparatively expensive or not too bad really?

Info gratefully received.

Cheers.

Hi, Eric. Clairefontaine and Rhodia are as common as Ampad and Mead are in the States. They're also much, much cheaper than in the States (a Rhodia pad in France costs only a little more than a legal yellow pad does here). Best,

David

Thanks for the info. I had a feeling that might be so. Have to pick some up next time I'm there, although who knows when that will be.

Cheers,

Eric

less then 1€ for Clairefontaine A5 staplebound notebooks, slightly more expensive for bigger notebooks, but about the same as in the US without back to school sales.

Clairefontaine/Rhodia products are also widely available in Germany. Every stationery store and even almost every department store has them.

I have found good prices here in the United States with a local bookseller in Cincinnati. But he's the only one who offers good prices in my region.

Really? Which local bookseller, if you don't mind my asking?

Cheers,

Eric

Less than one stinkin' Euro? That's [expletive deleted] outrageous! Have to get over there faster.

Cheers,

Eric
