NIFTY! Thanks for posting that. It's good to see the fountain pen alive and well and flourishing (even if it isn't in America...lol)

Oh, dear. The lady at the end sprak heel snel. Too much for me to follow. Cool loading method on the pens, though. Hoeveel kost?

A commercial for the Bic Easy Clic fountain pen (and some other Bic pens) can be found here

Cool ad but that Bic Easy Clic is not very good pen: I saw it for sale in Tempera and one of those pens were dedicated for customer’s testing purposes. It was scratchy! IIRC tip of its nib was ”butterfly‐type”.

I personally like my Bic Easy Clic and Bic For School that I purchaced in Paris, true they are cheap pens (none of my pens are over $100 and only two are over $50), but the Easy Clic has a cool "filling system" for a cartridge filler, and they both have nibs that are stiff enough to make carbon copies.

Based on my good experiences with the Pilot "Varsity," I would at least try one of these pens. I have found the Varsity to be a very useful pen. Who knows? Maybe these Bics would be comparable.

I've got one that a bought on a trip to France this summer. I find it to be excellent value for the money. Cost me $3, writes very smooth and doesn't dry out.

I couldn't clearly see the pen, old eyes vs. fast moving video images. Are there any stills of them anywhere?

I know that BIC bought Stypen a while ago and I really like the one Stypen Ergo-Plume that I bought before that acquisition. Cheap, robust, simple, and a medium nib that's more like a broad. Great fountain pen. I only wish that I could score some of the BIC versions, which are apparently the same exact pen rebadged with "BIC" on them.

The green one in the commercial costs about € 4,50. Bic has also a cheaper fountain pen (the 'For School) on the market that costs about € 2,50.

Most Bic fountain pens are indeed rebadged Stypen products. I really do like the fountain pens in the Bic Select range. Al made of metal and nice medium nibs (and value for money).
