Parker Vacumatic - Burgundy Marbled Pearl (1935)

I have taken a liking to this model and have accumulated a few of them. This one is a particularly clean example. Near mint early Parker Vacumatic Junior in Burgundy Marbled Pearl (1935 date code – Made in USA). This pen is freshly restored and the lock down filler works perfectly. The pen holds a full barrel of ink. The original, correct monotone nib has a 45 imprint and is a very smooth medium with loads of iridium. Very clean trim, no brassing and a deep crisp imprint. The transparency is slightly amber in tone but very clear. As you can see from the photos, the colour is spectacular.

The pen measures 4.75” capped, 4.5” uncapped and has a barrel diameter of 0.5”. This is the larger Junior model which has the thick, chunky gripping section making it very comfortable to use. These are very difficult to find in this condition. I think the buyer will be very pleased.

Priced at $190.00 SOLD

Sorry to ask a semi-off topic question in this thread, but can you tell me where you got your pen holder in the photos?

Sure no problem,

Its a Piquadro 2 pen holder which I bought from Fountain Pen Hospital on a trip to New York in 2004.

These are great cases as they have adjustable flaps at both ends and can accommodate pens of varying lengths easily.

I think they are generally available from most of the quality pen dealers on line.

Discounted price was around $50 if I recall correctly.

You are not alone. I innocently sat down at the computer this morning with no intention of buying any pens, which of course means I bought two. :cloud9: But how does one turn down a Bexley in a rare Italian celluloid for <$300?? And I've been wanting to try a Decimo for several months... :ltcapd:
