Seeking opinions on Waterman Liaison

I find its fairly unusual, yet not over the board, style very attractive. But what are its writing characteristics? I know it's on the heavy side, but I am perfectly OK with pens as heavy as the Exert II, for example. How does it it feel in size, compared to say the Parker Sonnet or the Expert II? And what have your experiences been with its nibs? Is a medium Liaison usually a true medium or is more like the Expert II which tends to be like a medium/broad? How about the fine?

 

Thanks for any feedback. Btwy, is the nib/feed the same as, or at least similar to, that of the Serenite?

My Liaison had the nib replaced and "worked on" by Waterman and is still a "hard starter".

Beautiful pen, good size and weight, but that occational skipped ink flow keeps it off the "favorites" list.

Pam at Oscar Braun has a great price on them though stock is limited as they are no longer in production.

I just read your nice review, and looking at the date of my post, I am almost sure that's a few days after she listed the Liaison on her website I am hopeful she might come across a clearance batch of blacks in the near future
