Best leather 23-Ring Binder

Recommended Posts

Hello,

What is the best 23-Ring leather Binder out there? The binders that I use right now look terrible after only 1 semester. The edges torn and the leather does not look good at all. I want to buy one really good one now. I am open for ideas.

I prefer A5 format but A4 is good also.

ps Right now I am using something like this: http://www.thedailyplanner.com/cloth-3ring...ck-p-10509.html

I was at Staples yesterday & saw a very nice ring-binder in heavy leather. Wasn't too bad a price either. You might want to check that out. It was in the area where they sell journals, etc. not with the school supplies

The first binder I always reach for is a Levenger Circa, but it's not a ring-binder in the traditional sense. Still, the quality can't be beat. I've had my leather one for over a year, use it everyday, and it's only gotten better with age. I don't know how expensive shipping would be from the US, and unfortunately, I don't know of a European equivalent.

I've been eye one a leather levenger circa for a while now. I'm broke at the moment :( How rough would you say you are with it? Can you give us and idea of your daily use?

I use it at the university, it has to be nice looking for sure but still though. I will not throw around obviously but it should not disintegrated if it fall on the ground once or twice a month. I hear Samsonite have some relevant products too. I will look into that too.

Moderately rough, I'd say. I don't do fieldwork with it, leave it in the rain or let it get wet. However, I don't feel guilty about tossing it into my briefcase, using it in the car (not while driving, of course!), and taking it to meetings, and traveling with it. It's always with me throughout the workday, and never far away at home.

Basically I am looking for something like this:

But with a zip around like this one here:

The are 2 problems with the second example:

1- I don't want all the stuff on the left side (I need all the space for paper: I need to fill this binder with at least 250 pages)

2- I need 23 rings instead of 3.

If anyone knows something like that please let me know.

I should have said that I am from the Netherlands. So I would prefer a online source that sells high quality material.

Hi, check www.snopake.com they sell quite "tasty looking" folders that I use for client files, but I know they also sell ring binders such as you are looking for.
