Ink recommendations for Pilot Kaküno

For what is worth, many inks that I disliked with a Kakuno EF nib, worked fantastic when I swapped in the M nib. It was like day and night. The colour palette you have chosen has traditionally more or less lubricated inks. 

However, if you veer towards pale colours, lubrication will disappear to a certain extent. The good thing with J Herbin I suggested is that you can get them in 10 ml bottles. 

Pilot Kakuno is a decent enough pen and works well with most if not all pens. However, if you don't want to refill again and again, maybe a CON-70 convertor be best.

  Colorverse inks have worked well with my Pilots- my Elite is currently filled with Colorverse Dokdo, a beautiful ink that sits on the line between turquoise and teal. In my location, they are the same price as many of the other newer “boutique” inks and less than some premium Japanese inks. I’m sure the price varies by region. Both Liz and Yazeh have recommended some excellent inks that shouldn’t be too costly.
