Montblanc 84 grip section saved!

Another big shout out to fpn! Because of this forum, I was able to pick up this Montblanc 84 with cracked grip section for under $90 with moderate certainty that I could fix it! The issue was that something either shrunk or maybe it was the wrong grip section(although it is too thick to be an 82 section). In any case, I was able to use an acrylic/ MEK mixture to close the gap and get the section writing again. It's not showroom ready. I wouldn't be able to sell it. But I am really happy to have this pen in my collection.

Was that the only issue? Are there any other cracks? How does it behave after a few days?

So far, no issues at all. Fortunately, the pen was in otherwise great shape!
