Stabilo fountain pen?

I saw that Stabilo has a number of fountain pens. Are they any good? I didn't see mention of converters. Do they have one or will they accept an international standard converter?

The Stabilo takes international cartridges, some models of the range have a strong curve to the barrel so I wouldn't take it as guaranteed that they will take a longer converter.

 

In terms of any good, they are sold as a school pen, I suggest that most old hands will be happier with a Lamy or Parker or even pens such as the Pelikan school models

I actually bought one, and it took a standard converter (the same size opening as a standard cartridge).

It's not a bad pen, but it really looks and feels like a school pen - I find I hardly ever use it. It's nice to use in ink experiments...

  I looked these up online, and I like that the nib is adjustable on the Easy Birdy, and that there are pens for right and left handed folks.

All my Stabilos take the Schmidt K5 which is a standard international converter. I have the EasyBirdy, EasyBuddy, and Grow. The EasyBirdy has a rotatable nib/grip like the Sailor Tuzu. It predated the Tuzu, and you need a special plastic tool to loosen the nut to turn the nib. The nibs are produced for them by Bock. They have a very nice feed, and all of mine work very well

Stabilo fountain pens are a little different from other "school" pens. They are available in Germany and have a model with a wooden barrel, an ecological approach.
