Hi Liz, thanks for the story and review, it’s a joy to read the chapters on your episodes every week. Did your ink pastelify on all papers, or just the Rhodia? Have you tried it on Iroful?

I found a picture of my daily engagement calendar/chore list from last year while using a Sheaffer Purple cartridge from a black multipack. The paper is pretty thick and glossy, and several inks sheen on it that may not often sheen on other papers. It’s what made me look for a bottle. In person it’s a metallic sheen that leans towards old gold/bronze. You can see it a bit in the picture.

Ooo, prettyyy!  I haven't looked through my cartridges yet.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Always a joy to see another one of your reviews @LizEF - even if I don’t like the ink that’s on the agenda. For this one, I like the microscopy pic the best - that one looks so cool. The ink itself … nope … doesn’t speak to me. I prefer a more lavender look myself with a bit more blue.

I thought it would be a boring one, but then I discovered the little connected floofs that look sort of like uneven dumbbells...  Inks can be surprising. :)

This is probably a good thing, given that Sheaffer inks seem to still be in flux as far as manufacturing and retailing... :)
