wow, really nice, put a bit pricey

IDK. I think there's a reason this hasn't been attempted before. I imagine it's more difficult to manufacture than a cylindrical pen.

And remember that most pens in this range, the better Moonman, Asvine, and Hongdian pens ALWAYS have an additional price premium for those who have to have it NOW (sometimes me!).

Wait a month or so and the price will drop closer to $30.

About the pen itself, it’s nice looking and probably decently made, given it’s a Majohn. I’ll certainly buy one, especially as I’m planning to sell my 360 with the rest of my better pens. Someday soon, I keep telling myself.

The price isn't my main concern. What troubles me is the lengthy list of disclaimers and warnings in the full description regarding potential issues with the pen, including misalignments, gaps, and cracks. Additionally, they urge buyers to be particularly understanding, as the triangular design presents numerous technical challenges. I won't be rushing out to buy this model.

As for the price, I doubt it will drop much, given that all the Chinese brands owned by the same company as Mahohn have increased their prices considerably recently.

I will wait until there is a detailed pen test by one of the members of FPN. Then we will see how many disclaimers are something to worry about or only a small "imperfection". They look quite tempting.

I haven’t noticed that, do you have examples?

Edit: I went back and read the list of disclaimers and warnings, oh my!

Actually, I think I found an example of recently inflated prices like you mention: the Hongdian N1S seems to have gone almost universally to around $29 USD, while I remember it around $22-23.

Now I’ll keep a sharper eye out for price increases on existing models.

FYI I see J120 shows the Taobao price for this pen at $23 so there is room to move down—but I’m not as confident that it will move down now.

I just received my V60. Initial impression: its flawless, price considered.

Cap, clip, section, body, and endcap are all perfectly aligned. Piston action is smooth. No scratches to speak of, except maybe where the section engages the inner cap. Maybe.

I would say rumors of the V60's demise have been greatly exaggerated.

I got mine in yellow and gold yesterday.

It seems to be a very nice pen, in particular looking at the price.

The body is obviously casted, but is a good quality casting, with no visible lines or flaws. the 2 bands in the cap and in the section with the tipical Omas greek are very well done and well and firmly placed on the pen.

The knob is well alligned, and the cap snap in well.

Filling system mechanism seems to be in brass at least the visible part, and gives impression to be solid and reliable.

The clip is well done, and similar to that one of the 360.

As conclusion, among my many Omas pens I never bought a 360, and recently I was missing that pen.

The V60 is a good tribute to the 360, with less than 1/10 of cost, and I'm keeping it as my daily office pen.

I'm ordering another one in different color !.

Mine arrived today and I was so impressed by the fit and finish I bought another (yellow with silver trim) immediately. The EF Moonman nib is exactly as I like it. The clip is quite strong and it’s quite a nice pen. Anyone with an eye for design and anyone who coveted the 360 will want to try this pen at $30. Another winner for Moonman. large.IMG_0623.jpeg.367375d18b57657581f263b295ba05ff.jpeg

Something I remembered from the several 360s I’ve owned is that with my grip, it was very helpful to rotate the nib slightly left to compensate for the way I grip the triangular section. I think a number of 360 users did so. I’m thinking Omas featured that adjustability but maybe I’m dreaming…

Some sellers on AEx are offering the V60 for under $24 now. It doesn't feel right buying it at that price😁. How can this much pen fit within 24 dollars?
