ASA Pens- Stock issues? Lovely pens, though...

I absolutely love the look of ASA pens, and the prices are perfect and justified- In fact, I would pay much more for many of these. I would like to buy one of them for a friend's birthday, but none of the ones I know they'll like are in stock. I'm not really complaining, just looking at them is quite enough for me, but the day comes closer and closer, and there's less than a month left...

I would like to buy in specific the ASA Maya (the green one is so elegant! Could very well be illusion- And I mean that in a good way. It's beautiful.) or the Nauka (Clean, clean so clean.). However, these two, and also the daily, seem to be out of stock perpetually- It's been this way for more than a month now. I understand that these pens are hand turned, and, again, I iterate, I am not complaining.

 

I'm more curious, rather- Are these issues with stock, are they not being produced anymore, or something else?

 

A side question, what is up with the ASA Yoddha? It simply cannot be that expensive... 200, 300 times some of the pens!

I ordered mine, customized,  several years ago via email.  Matte black, no nib, no rings, threaded for Bock.

Was it at usual price- Marked up a bit higher for it being customised, but almost usual, or a significant amount higher?
